This means that we hold dearly the teachings of the early church that was established by Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah) through His death on the cross in 31 A.D. This is the same church that was assembled in one place on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1) soon after Jesus had ascended to heaven. Upon receiving the power of the Holy Spirit, these dedicated men and women went about spreading the wonderful message of salvation. This early group was led by the twelve apostles. Many more converts joined them later in the ministry, including Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles. This early church grew and increased in number daily. Despite many obstacles, the church has been preserved, and today we are an extension of that same early church. This is where we originated from.
